Happy Fourth of July! Saw the fireworks yesterday, since for some reason the show got moved to the third last year and hasn't gone back to the fourth. They were pretty cool, but the show was shorter than usual because they had five or six of the fireworks go up in flames. The explosions were pretty damn impressive all by themselves, I must say. I think I almost enjoyed them more than the actual fireworks. xD Who doesn't like seeing a bunch of miniature mushroom clouds blossom on the feild out in front of them?
Today we went fishing. I didn't catch any, and my mom caught three, but I guess she's just getting me back for last year, when I caught five and she caught one. We may go back up tomorrow, but maybe not. We actually remembered the sunscreen this trip too, so my annual sunburn is much less impressive than usual. Actually I barely even have a tan. But oh well. My burns the last few years have probably been sufficient to give me skin cancer without having to worry about it this year as well.
Had hot dogs and corn on the cob for dinner today. A good old American dinner if there ever was one.
Bought some more smoke bombs to divert the zombies, too. Coulda bought some roman candles, but the timing of the zombie apocalypse is too iffy. Didn't want to store them in my garage where I may accidentally light them on fire. I'll have enough problems if I accidentally light the smoke bombs, sparklers, and piccolo petes without having to dodge roman candles as well.
Other than that, I don't know much. Hope everyone has a fun Independance Day and that no one gets hurt in the fireworks. XD

We're leaving tomorrow for our trip, so I'll be out of touch until we get back on July 8. We're leaving in the afternoon tomorrow and driving to Salida, and we're spending the night there. Then we'll go up to Golden and visit CSM, and spend the night across from the Loveland Outlet Mall. On Friday we'll go on to Casper, and I'll visit my dad for four days. He says we have a dig scheduled for Monday in Thermopolis, so I'm excited. Trips to Thermop. are always fun, and it's been a while since I've been there last. Then he'll take me up to Buffalo on the 2, I think, and I'll spend four days with my aunt and grandma up there. Then we come back to Salida on the 7, and spend the night, and then my mom and I'll come back on the 8 while she'll stay down there to visit her dad.
I have to finish all the last minute packing and take the dog to the vet tomorrow, (Wednesday), so I don't know if I'll be on much. I hope I can at least get on to say goodbye, but if things don't work out, goodbye! xD Don't have TOO much fun without me, and I look forward to seeing you when I get back! *waves*
